Japanese ceramics

Japanese studio pottery is difficult to access in the UK, a bit odd as so many UK potters are influenced by traditional Japanese forms, glazes and firing. Whilst we are not in a position to stock multiple work by any one potter (yet!) we do seek to acquire single pieces that are of special interest. Where we can we provide information about the potter and the tradition he/she is working within if that is relevant. For some pieces we do not know the name of the potter but this does not take away from the intrinsic quality of the piece. Read more...
